Light lunch in Soho NY

So I was in New York last week and on my way back hom in the bus right now.... I love wifi in the bus... it makes the 8hrs ride way easier + Dichie Roberts playing in the back ground... 1 tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila, FLOOR, makes it funnier.

I did shop in NYC ( no way!!!) and went to a few (2 every day) museum.
I recommand a cute little restaurant for Lunch in Soho (Prince Street) : Café Borgia.
I had a great portabello, mushroom, tomato on italian grilled bread (very light) served with a green and fresh salad. Not to oily, not to big: the hole package being kind of surprising in usa.
Inside, it's tiny and cute people go for lunch alone, or maximum 4!

Exposition wise... New Museum of Contemporary Art is always fun to go too... very erotic, I enjoyed a few pieces except the one which consisted in a mashing up of icetoping betty crocker... that was disguting!!

Alright, maybe I'm not so update, but I really enjoy urbanspoon.com when it comes to find new restaurants / bars.

My suggestion this week: Marché 27 on Prince-Arthur
I'm a big big fan of steak tartare and with spring coming along... I feel like eating / drinking out a lot : it's really good there, and only around 12$!

This summer, it's all about patterns: a lot of flowers and a few inspired- animal-prints- ligns (flashy colors - pucci style- for the day and black and white silk fabric at night!)

I want those from T Bags... it's beautifull.
They have nice silky tops at Urban Outfiters and at TopShop, if you pass by New York or live in Europe.
Also, have a look in Vintage store clothing (or your grandma's closet!), great paterns from the 70's, affordable and totally back in fashion this summer!

Where to find those after holidays deals!

You need underwears and don't want to go at La Senza?
Bottom wise: H&M- package of three thongs or regular underwear are very cheap, comfortable and simple.

Bra wise: Forever XXI just opened a few months ago downtown in Les Ailes de la Mode and I just bought a very nice bra for 6.50 $! It doesn't look cheap and its very easy to match. Everytime I go to New York, I buy bras from them and, finally, I don't have to wait for my regulars trips to New York!

Tights: Great selection at Urban Outfiters (Saint-Catherine/ Saint-Denis). Promotion right now: 2 for 20 $! Go with your friend and treat yourself good. It might be -20, but we, montrealers women, love showing our long and fitted legs!

Hair Accessories: I will again talk about Forever XXI. Ton of choices for little, little prices (big bows are over, so pleace ladies, switch to subtile hair accessories like flowered hair clips or Chain link bobby pins.)

Interesting Sales: French Connection, Abe & Mary's (Jean-Talon- JBrand Jeans regular price 245$- 60%!!), Influence U (great deals for shoes and boots!!).
If you are well awear of your size, have a little fun on internet and shop on urbanoutfitters.com. You can actually see what is in sale compare to 'looking' for something pretty in their chaotic racks downtown!
